There are many opportunities to help people in the Merced area who are in distressing situations. Love INC is one of many organizations but unique in its model of serving the community. Love INC seeks to bring Christians out from the four walls of the church into the community, giving each person a specific opportunity to help someone in need. Some of these opportunities are:

• Taking requests for help by phone in our Clearinghouse
• Praying for those in need in our community
• Delivering food or small items
• Delivering furniture and appliances
• Transporting people to medical appointments
• Coordinating help through your own church
• Providing Diapers,Formula, or other infant items for babies born into poverty
• Providing meals or toys for needy families at Christmas and Thanksgiving
• Providing a specialized skill, like plumbing, home repair, electrical, etc. 
• Be trained as a budget mentor for a family that is seeking to learn how to properly manage their household finances
• Starting a Love INC ministry in your church
